Islamabad High Court has accepted 24 Writ Petitions of importers who challenged imposition of demurrages amounting to billions of rupees. No demurrages will be payable by importers if delay in clearance of goods is not because of any fault of the importers. Mr. Adnan Haider Randhawa, managing partner of AHR & Co. represented the importers.
